Ghosts have trapped Bobby Ray and Winston in the spirit dimension and time is running out. Meanwhile, Big D and Joe Cletus use the help of town psychic, Madam Rowena, and her spirit guide Mr. Chatajee to find and plan a rescue for the boys.

Howdy y’all. Welcome to Mosquito Springs. I’m Big D and I’m joined by Joe Cletus out here in Sutter’s Woods. So, Grab you something cold to drink and cross your fingers that we’ll be able to bring Bobby Ray and Winston back from the other side tonight.
(Crickets)

(Over radio) hey, we’re missing the State Fair of Texas being stuck in here, you know.

I know, Bobby Ray. And we brought some of the fried goodies you asked for with us. (Bags rustling) We’ve got Lobster Corndogs from Trio on the Green, and Fried Lemon Icebox pie balls from Gourmet Royale & Southern Fried Chicken.

(Over radio) oh, that sounds awesome, man.

(Over radio) you didn’t forget the sweet tea this time did ya?

No, we’ve got plenty of sweet tea and an Igloo water cooler full of iced water, too.

(Over radio) Those Deep fried peach cobbler soul rolls and the Deep Fried Shrimp Étouffée from Pearlies Southern Kitchen you sent through the magic mirror to us last night was delicious.

(Over radio) That Bucket of fries with the chili, cheese and onions from Tracy’s Fry Trailer was pretty tasty, too.

If we don’t get them out again tonight, we’ll use the anti static grounded pole to slide the food through the magic mirror to them again at the haunted Skinner house. But I think we’re on to something this time.

I know, Bobby Ray. But we’re getting everyone else caught up on what happened to y’all since last time. And lucky for us, the radios we used in the ghost investigation at the Skinner house last week has kept us in touch with Bobby Ray and Winston when they got stuck in the other side in the spirit realm.

Ghosts pulled Bobby Ray and Winston through a mirror they found in the basement and they wound up in Sutter’s Woods the day before they left the Skinner house.

(Over radio) they drove out here to the woods the next day to pick us up at the Haunted Glow Tree, but they couldn’t see us, even though we was standing right in the same spot as they was!

And we’ve been sending them food and other supplies through the spirit mirror at 2 am our time each morning, since that’s when the mirror activates.

Well, 2 am is right in the middle of the witching hours when you get the most spirit activity.

(Over radio) spirits or not, I’m sure gonna miss these 2 o’clock feedings. (Laugh)

(Laughs) I bet you will. And it’s gonna be nice to sleep through the night for a change, that is if we get y’all out of that portal tonight.

(Over radio) I’m ready to get out of here, too. Misty Moonshine and the other llamas are probably missing me.

Don’t worry, even with the new stock tank and them grazing, we’ve been checking in on them and making sure everything was OK out there at your place. We also made sure to keep their meditation music going. And Bobby Ray, we’ve been taking some of that state fair food and covered dishes over to Nadine and the kids as well. She says “hey.”

(Over radio) We sure appreciated those sleeping bags and electric lanterns y’all sent through, ‘Cause It got kinda cold at night.

(Over radio) yep, and it was a good thing we had my Ronco Pocket Chainsaw to cut wood up and Winston’s Lighter Buddy to get it started and scale the fish. Of course, we put it out each morning cause we follow tips from that Smokey the Bear fella and Betty White, who’s an honorary Park Ranger.

And speaking of bears, we solved that “does a bear poop in the woods” rhetorical question. The answer is empathatically yes, and apparently he really likes those truck stop burritos. Whew! I hope you brought us a BIG Poopouri bottle to cover up THAT aromagic joy!

Now we must all concentrate on finding Bobby Ray and Winston to give the pendent energy and direction.

That should give us an extra powerful boost. Now concentrate. The pendent is moving…moving toward Sutter’s Woods.

My You are correct, Big D. But it is not just lying under the table, it is stuck to the underside of the table directly under the Glow Tree point on the map!

What does that mean?

It means that the boys are indeed in Sutter’s Woods, but in the spirit dimension on the other side of the portal.

Portal? What portal?
Madam Rowena 9:59
The tree itself. It’s a Yew, you know. Probably about a thousand years old, and sacred in Irish and other cultures with great metaphysical and physical powers.

But the portal there can only be opened by recreating the lightening you experienced on the night the boys were sucked into the Spirit Mirror portal that is also accessible through the Glow Tree in Sutter’s Woods.

And if we do that we will be able to pull them back through to this side of the portal?

So, we only have a few days left and there aren’t any lightening storms predicted for the rest of the week.

So that’s how we ended up out here in Sutter’s Woods trying to recreate lightening to open the spirit portal with Joe Cletus’ secret weapon he had back at his shop. So tell us what you’ve got here, Joe Cletus.

Well, we’ve got the modified generator on the Dodge Power wagon that’s providing the base power for the jumbo Tesla coils on the trailer which has also been amped up to provide the lightening strike that will travel the electric cable attached to the spirit glow tree.
Big D 11:47
Then we should be able to pull them out of the spirit realm after the lightening strike?
Joe Cletus 11:51
Sure as shootin’. Now, put on these headphones that will protect your ears from the sound of the lightening blast and still let us hear the boys on the radio.

And these goggles to protect your eyes and the grounded jumpsuits we’re wearing should keep us safe during the power transfer. Finally, these ropes tied to the Power Wagon and to our harnesses will keep us from being pulled into the portal when grabbing the boys.
